Final Exam Reflection
Accept that doing anything well requires hard work. I chose this lesson because I know that quality work requires a lot of time. My passion is art-especially drawing (cartooning anything basically) and I realize that not every sketch or piece I make won't turn out perfect. Drawing a little bit each day or taking on a new way of looking at things through art requires time and effort , which I strive to do,
Solicit feedback from your audience. Whenever I make a new piece through photo-shop or drawing or whichever method I always ask my best friend (boy friend) what he thinks. He doesn't tell me that it's good always because he knows I want to hear an honest opinion. He tells me the best parts about it and what I need to work on. I don't always take feedback the greatest but I appreciate that he's been honest the past 2 1/2 years with me :)
Expand your skill set. I love art, I used to believe it was only drawing or painting, however; last year as a freshmen they offered cinema and photography at my school and I was intrigued. I signed up and fell absolutely in love with photography and photo-shop. This year as well I'm signed up for 3D art (like pottery) and that's out of my comfort zone a bit but I hope to expand my skills in art.

Food for thought.
The movie Julie & Julia really inspired me as a person. Maybe I will start keeping a blog and update it regularly on my art progress and just my everyday thoughts. I really liked the movie, especially since it was based off a true story. I may update this blog more regularly and who knows, maybe I'll get followers and someday a movie will be made about me.
